New Breaking Dawn Still -
Rosalie, Alice and Bella!

From MTV:
Tomorrow's the big day! In just over 24 hours, we'll be sitting down with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner for our MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and as you probably know, a portion of our festivities will be dedicated to debuting a never-before-seen clip from the saga's fourth installment.
And because you've been such patient pals waiting for this EXCLUSIVE scene, we're giving you a quick peek! (Shhhhh! Don't tell our bosses...)

This still is straight from the brand new footage, and as you can likely surmise, captures the moments right before Bella and Edward's long-awaited nuptials. Alice (Ashley Greene) and Rosalie (Nikki Reed) are visions in purple as they help Bella (Kristen) get ready to walk down the aisle to her vampire groom.
But the question remains: Just who are they looking at? I guess you'll have to tune in to find out!

And you better believe this isn't the last tease you'll get before the clip debuts during our MTV First. Check in with MTV Movies tomorrow morning at 7 ET (12AM GMT) for an entire 10-SECOND SNIPPET of the scene. That's major. Be sure to tune in to "MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," which kicks off Thursday, November 3, on MTV at 7:56 p.m (11.56PM GMT), followed by a Q&A with Kristen, Rob and Taylor on MTV.com!

**Note**
MTV.com never stream anything outside of the US.
We will try to get a YouTube version of the snippet-clip(and the full version, obviously) up on the blog ASAP!

Three new 'Breaking Dawn' Comic-Con promo
character-cards revealed

Three Comic-Con promo character-cards from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 have been unveiled today by USA Today, as well as a new quote from director Bill Condon:
Bill Condon, director of the final two Twilight movies, Breaking Dawn, Part I (out Nov. 18) and Part II (Nov. 16, 2012), sees Cullen and Black as part of a long tradition of rooting for the noble monster, dating to the original Frankenstein film in 1931.

"We've always had a complicated relationship toward monsters. Don't you feel like in every Dracula movie, you're sort of wanting him to get away with it?" Condon says, laughing.

The two-sided cards feature “Bella” (Kristen Stewart), “Edward” (Robert Pattinson), and “Jacob” (Taylor Lautner) on one side, and mini-bios on the other.

Check them out below! (Click the images to make them bigger)
~*~
For “Jacob”, his group listing contains two names:
the Quileute Wolf Pack (a.k.a. “Sam’s” group), and The Black Pack, his own new pack, headed by him and followed by “Leah” and “Seth Clearwater.”

Appropriately, then, his quote is: “I am the grandson of a chief. I wasn’t born to follow you or anyone else.”

For “Bella,” the biographical information contains her full, married name for the first time (“Isabella Marie Swan Cullen”), considers her part of the “Cullen Coven,” and cutely lists her date of transformation as “TBD” (or “To Be Determined”).
Also, for special abilities, it is noted, “Her mind is impenetrable; no one can read her thoughts unless she allows it. She can shield herself from all types of physical attacks.”
The note also contains a quote from her: “Yeah, I’m ready.”

For “Edward,” little is new except his own quote: “I’ve been waiting a century to marry you, Miss Swan.”

Wow, there's been some Great Breaking Dawn goodies to start off Comic-Con week, hasn't there? :D

The Twilight Saga "Swan" Set House is OFFICIALLY no more

*upsetting twi-images ahead!!*

A hole in the ground that was the foundation for the house.

One of the several landfill dumpsters used to haul away the Swan House.

One backhoe driver and assistant locations dude On Location Kerry Park.

You can also check out a short video of the site on youtube.

The deconstruction began early Monday morning ( See previous post) as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn's production use of the Swan House set in Vancouver, British Columbia was completed - meaning the site would be once again disassembled - this time, for good. *sobs*

The Swan House location isn't the only to set to have been recently deconstructed. Bella and Edward's Cottage set has also been taken down.

As a reminder, the Swan House set used for Breaking Dawn, was the same one made for The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but it is not the original Swan House set used in Twilight.
The latter remains in St. Helens, Oregon, and the former was constructed similar to the first one (with a few changes - namely, Bella's window space) so that production could be moved to Vancouver rather than the Portland area.
It is speculated that the set's use for Breaking Dawn was very minimal - only a couple of scenes required exterior frames of the house.

The rest of production, it seems, will be carried out in Squamish (outside of Vancouver), with several of the new coven castmembers involved. Imaginably, they are filming an outdoor sequence using Squamish's lovely scenery as a backdrop for the shoot. Several fans have ventured to the area to catch a glimpse of what's going on there, and you can check out those accounts here and here.

It is a sad day for Twilight Fans and the finality of the end of the saga is clear with the destruction of this set house.

However, in the words of Director Chris Weitz, "Life is short and Art is Long" and this house will live on for a long time in the Twilight Saga Movies.

Bye Bye Swan House, It was nice knowing you.

Some windows and trees were chopped down by 9am
The tree outside of Bella's window met a chainsaw.
The open door shows the stairs.
The three trees out front were chainsawed.
Windows and doors removed then the chimney.
According to Newsflic:

"The white frame movie set house was located on 28th ave between 188th Ave and 184th Ave. It sat on Kerry Park for about six weeks. They used the location house for one day and two scenes.  The front of the house was decorated for Christmas. I have deduced the scene included Bella as a Vampire, Charlie Swan and little Renesmee. Bella brings Renesmee over for Christmas. The second scene included Emmett, Jasper and Edward. Emmett and Jasper arrive at the Swan house to pick up Edward for the Bach party. I am really just putting pieces together to arrive at my conclusion based on the house set up and the cast that were in Vancouver on that Friday for filming.

Today the deconstruction began and it will never be built again. It took three weeks to build and a few days to take down. It will be put in safe storage somewhere in the event that Stephanie Meyer ever finishes Midnight Sun and that book is made into a movie.  Let's lobby Stephanie to finish the final book and make one more Saga Movie."

Well, twi-fans... how are you feeling? It's a sad day :(

Bella's House Is Being Built In Vancouver

Okay.
I don't mean to upset you, but this is the last time Bella Swan's house will EVER be constructed. *tear*
It really is the end of an era... :(

From newsflic:

Construction started early this morning in Kerry Park in Surrey.  Twilight fans will be thrilled to learn that filming will return to British Columbia mid February.  The Swan House was a location fans flocked to see during filming of both New Moon and Eclipse.  The house is just a shell of a house with no interior decoration or structural design.  The art department hangs the drapes and puts a lamp in the front window but the interior of the house is an empty shell.  The interior shots of "The Swan House" are filmed on a sound stage.
Portions of the Swan House

I first reported seeing the locations team at this location last fall.  I was on a Movie Location Tour and I asked my guests if they would like to see the lot where they set up the house.  Upon our arrival at the lot I was surprised to see a couple of familiar faces.  They were have a location meeting.  At the time I was sure they would return in 2010 to do some filming but they  filmed Breaking Dawn in Baton Rouge through the winter.

The walls to the house arrived Monday Jan 17,2011
The house has been in storage since October 2009

The house will take about 7 to 10 days to complete.  A large chain link fence surrounds the property and several No Trespassing Signs are hanging on the fence.  Security at this location is quite high due to some naughty fans trying to collect a small bit of Movie History.

The property is leased from the City of Surrey
The foundation was built last fall in  preparation of winter construction.

There are three large trees that have to be planted in front of the house and then a large tree outside of Bella's bedroom window.  Some of the landscaping has been completed and the driveway going down to the underground garage is also complete.
I am looking forward to seeing the house grow up over the next few days.

Bella and Jacob are the most popular baby names of 2010!

Taken from The East Valley Tribune:

"Followers of the “Twilight” series are apparently reproducing.

For the first time ever, the name Bella cracked the Top 20 for the names that parents gave to their newborn girls born this year in Arizona.

A year earlier, it managed to rank just 77th on the list.

But the popularity of the novels, and the movies that have followed — and of heroine Bella Swan — apparently does not translate across the gender barrier when parents are choosing names for their sons.

The popularity list provides no indication of who is on “Team Jacob’’ and who is on "Team Edward", as viewers [of the film] have divided their loyalties between the werewolf and the vampire.
It’s true that Jacob is the most popular name for boys. But that’s not new: It also placed there last year — and a decade earlier.
And Edward? Still not popular. It didn’t even crack the Top 100."
