Colin Farrell wishes Robert Pattinson the Best of Luck for Cosmopolis

ET Canada yesterday confirmed that Robert Pattinson WILL play the lead role of Eric Packer, in the film adaptation of Don DeLillo's book Cosmopolis. (You can buy a copy of the book from here.)

Colin Farrell (who was due to play the lead before scheduling conflicts stopped him) wished Robert Pattinson all the best in a recent interview with MTV.

"I wish him all the luck. It's a wonderful, wonderful script, I wish him all the luck in the world with it."

*Sigh*

 Imagine if Rob came here to Ireland to thank Colin Farrell for being so nice...
