Exclusive: New Poster for 'Welcome to the Rileys' starring Kristen Stewart
From MovieLine
The good folks at Samuel Goldwyn Films have sent over the first poster forWelcome to the Rileys, director Jake Scott’s feature debut starring James Gandolfini, Melissa Leo and, in a racy, much-buzzed-about role, Kristen Stewart. Forget Bella — meet Mallory.
Rileys features Gandolfini and Leo as a married couple ravaged by the death of their teenaged daughter. Worn down by her agoraphobia, he splits to New Orleans, where his platonic encounter with a young runaway and prostitute (Stewart) prompts each to finally pursue their respective shots at recovery and redemption. Back at the film’s Sundance premiere, Movieline singled out Stewart’s performance in particular as one to watch: “[A]s the foul-mouthed, filthy-minded teen with the gnarly complexion at the center of the story,” Seth Abramovitch wrote, “she gives another effective, rough-edged performance — while going a long way towards coloring in some of those libidinous lines left void by the ever-chaste Bella [Swan].”
The Twilight Saga - The Official Illustrated Guide - coming April 2011
The bad news: It’s not another sequel.
The good news: There will be plenty of brand-new details in The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, a reference book Stephenie Meyer created to accompany her best-selling novels. According to a press release from Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, the $24.99 encyclopedia, which will go on sale April 12, 2011, includes “character profiles, outtakes, a conversation with Meyer, genealogical charts, maps, extensive cross-references, and much more,” including art by Young Kim, who illustratedTwilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1.
For her part, Meyer said, “I’m always amazed at how many in-depth questions my readers have about my characters and the world within the Twilight Saga. With The Official Illustrated Guide, I hoped we could incorporate as many details as possible, including character histories, like Alice’s back story.”

Kristen & Rob's Harper's Bazaar cover named 'Cover of the Year'
HARPER'S BAZAAR'S TWILIGHT COVER NAMED BEST MAGAZINE COVER OF THE YEAR IN ASME'S BEST COVER CONTEST, HOSTED BY AMAZON.COM
CHICAGO, October 4, 2010 — The cover of the December 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, featuring the lead actors of the hit movie franchise Twilight, was chosen by Amazon.com customers as “Cover of the Year.” This is the second year that Amazon.com has hosted the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) Best Cover Contest, and the fifth year that ASME has presented the awards. The announcement was made today by Larry Hackett, ASME president and managing editor, People, at the American Magazine Conference currently underway in Chicago, Ill.
Twelve category winners, chosen by Amazon.com customers during the first round of public voting, competed for the “Cover of the Year” honor. The Harper’s Bazaar cover, which won the “Best Vampire” category before it was chosen “Cover of the Year,” depicts Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in a rare shot together. While the epic image played on the idea of courtship, it was given extra heat due to their real-life romance.

A Message from Bill Condon
Bill Condon, director extraordinaire of Breaking Dawn, recently posted a message for the fans on the Official Twilight Facebook page. This is our first news from Mr. Condon in quite some time and with filming not far off, I'm sure it won't be the last! The entire message is below.
Wow, it sounds like they've assembled quite a team! Between the birth and Renesmee, they certainly have their work cut out for them, but I'm sure it will be fabulous.
Which Breaking Dawn scene are you most looking forward to?
Hello fans!
Has it really been five months (and a day) since my last dispatch? In my defense, they've been five months spent immersed in the world of TWILIGHT - something I'm sure you can all appreciate. We're in the thick of pre-production now, juggling everything from casting to storyboarding to location scouting, getting it all ready to go, but I do want to take a moment to announce to you exclusively a few of the amazing production team members who are hard at work alongside me, bringing these movies to life. I hope you'll be as excited about them as I am:
Guillermo Navarro, who won an Academy Award for the beautiful PAN'S LABYRINTH, is our cinematographer. Guillermo and I have been painstakingly planning each shot, with a team of very talented storyboard artists.
Michael Wilkinson, our costume designer, is bringing his brilliant vision to the styles of all your favorite characters. Michael's created fantastic looks for 300, WATCHMEN, and the upcoming TRON: LEGACY - just wait 'til you see his take on the vampire witnesses who come to Forks from around the globe.
Jean Black, our makeup designer, has worked extensively with the Coen Brothers and David Fincher, most recently making exquisite, award-winning contributions to THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON. I'm honored to be working with her.
Richard Sherman, with whom I made GODS AND MONSTERS and KINSEY, is on-board as our production designer. Richard's one of my oldest collaborators and a terrific designer, and you may be interested to know that he also happens to be a lifelong vampire aficionado.
Our Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor John Bruno has been responsible for some of the most memorable special effects ever, with his groundbreaking work on display in everything from POLTERGEIST to AVATAR. He and his team are working intensely to develop solutions to the host of special effects challenges that Stephenie created for us in BREAKING DAWN, including that remarkable kid...
Wonderful, imaginative people all and very exciting, intense times for us. Even with the months of work we've already put in, we're barely underway on the journey, and I do hope to get back to you much sooner next time with more news. Until then, thanks for your warm reception and continued support!
Very best regards,
Bill
