Cosmopolis gets a UK (and Ireland) Release date!!!! :D

Yes, Rob. we're just as relieved as you are!!! ;)
According to LaunchingFilms.com, the Cosmopolis release date for the UK is Friday, June 15th.
For those of us in Ireland, we can deduce that - going by past UK release dates - we'll be getting the film on the same date!

We're still waiting on an official announcement from EOne about this, but KStewartUK emailed another film-release company, filmdates.co.uk, and got the following reply back confirming the same release date;

So............. are you jumping up and down and screaming along with us? :D
WOOHOO! I can't wait!

***ANNOUNCEMENT RE NEW MOON TICKET SALES IRELAND****

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Monday 12th October……..E1 Entertainment today announces that advance box office for the THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON will open in Ireland on October 18th in every major cinema, coinciding with the new moon appearing in the October skies.

October 18th is the tenth new moon of this lunar year and fans will be able to buy up their much coveted NEW MOON ticket ahead of the crowd in November and be guaranteed to be amongst the first in Ireland to see the film. This year’s 11th new moon will mark the worldwide premiere of the film in Los Angeles on November 16th.

The Twilight phenomenon started last year in Ireland with the books reaching nearly €3 million to date.  Last week, the DVD went the back to Number 1 in the charts after an incredible 27 weeks on release.  This makes the DVD the best selling this year behind Bond’s QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, the second chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s successful series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) tests fate for a glimpse of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). As she plumbs deep into the mysteries of the supernatural world that she yearns to become part of, she discovers a pair of ancient secrets that put her at more peril than ever before.

With more of the passion, action and suspense that made TWILIGHT a smash hit, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is a spellbinding follow-up to the international box office phenomenon.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is released in Ireland, the UK and the States on November 20th.
