Cam Gigandet to work with Catherine Hardwicke in "Plush"

According to Variety,  Twilight's Cam Gigandet (James) has signed on to play a psychiatrist in Catherine Hardwicke's new thriller "Plush.".

Hardwicke, who's also producing the film, will helm from a script she co-wrote with Artie Nelson.

Plush follows a traumatized young woman (to be played the gorgeous Australian actress Emily Browning) with psychic powers who clashes with a psychiatrist who uses similar powers to look into the memories of his patients.  

Plush is set for a 2013 release.
