Anna Kendrick is in negotiations to star in singing comedy 'Pitch Perfect'.
The 'Scott Pilgrim Vs the World' actress would appear alongside 'Bridesmaids' star Rebel Wilson in the film, which will be directed by Jason Moore.
Anna would play a goth-like rebel who discovers she has a powerful voice and becomes a "secret weapon" for her school's all female a cappella choir, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The script is based on the non-fiction book created by journalist Mickey Rapkin.
Oscar-nominated Anna, 26, could shoot the medium-budget film as early as the autumn.
Anna will next be seen reprising the role of Jessica Stanley in parts one and two of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'.
She is also currently filming the role of Rosie in 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' alongside an all-star cast including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker and Cheryl Cole, who has a cameo appearance as a reality TV show judge.
