Preview of Rob's Interview in Vanity Fair Italy

Brief (rough) translation - The issue will be out tomorrow.

"While waiting to come back for working on the Twilight Saga, he is playing the lover of a married woman. But being a cheater for him will be really hard.

You don't have to be smart to understand that, generally speaking, there is worst than became a poster-guy who needs to hide from the fans in a five star hotel room around the world. And it looks like Robert is a very smart guy. But is also looks like, in his everyday life, that he didn't take his destiny from the bright side. He is young (25 years old in May), he has money, success, a job - actor - which half of the world would love to have and all the women whom he could have. But you can see he is not happy.

The reason, I believe, is because he is smart enought to understand that he is not that special. He is still down-to-earth even when the whole world is going crazy for him. That makes him a good person, but so so lonely. I met him a few weeks ago, for the promotion of the movie "Water for Elephants".

Born in a normal English family - his mother working for a model agency, his father used to sell vintage cars - he was going to work on international relations. His role as Cedric in Harry Potter and the Globet of Fire was a lucky event and the same was for the role that was going to change is life: the Vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight.
Water for Ekephants is a romance movie.

"What attracted me was the historical period, the great depression, the circus, it's fascinating".

The main plot is however the story between Jacob and Marlena.

"Even if at the beginning you are thinking "oh now he comes and sees her, they like each other they run away together" the story is more than that. Jacob is ready to give, not to take. Best relationship ever".

Could you have an affair with a married woman?

"Life is not black or white. There are married people that don't see each other, can we define that as marriage? There is one thing I've never understood: why people cheat"

You can't understand something that most people do???

“I understand the impulse, but not how you can maintain two relationships for long. And though I realize that can happen to those who have children, I can't really understand how someone free of any commitment could possible choose to have four women at the same time. It must be like hell for a man”

You don't believe in cheating. What about in the happly ever after, like a movie ending?

“My parents met when my mom was 17 and my father 25, they are still together and seem very happy. I grew up believing that you can be together all life."

The whole interview will be on the next issue of vanity fair out on March 30th

The Twilight Saga "Swan" Set House is OFFICIALLY no more

*upsetting twi-images ahead!!*

A hole in the ground that was the foundation for the house.

One of the several landfill dumpsters used to haul away the Swan House.

One backhoe driver and assistant locations dude On Location Kerry Park.

You can also check out a short video of the site on youtube.

The deconstruction began early Monday morning ( See previous post) as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn's production use of the Swan House set in Vancouver, British Columbia was completed - meaning the site would be once again disassembled - this time, for good. *sobs*

The Swan House location isn't the only to set to have been recently deconstructed. Bella and Edward's Cottage set has also been taken down.

As a reminder, the Swan House set used for Breaking Dawn, was the same one made for The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but it is not the original Swan House set used in Twilight.
The latter remains in St. Helens, Oregon, and the former was constructed similar to the first one (with a few changes - namely, Bella's window space) so that production could be moved to Vancouver rather than the Portland area.
It is speculated that the set's use for Breaking Dawn was very minimal - only a couple of scenes required exterior frames of the house.

The rest of production, it seems, will be carried out in Squamish (outside of Vancouver), with several of the new coven castmembers involved. Imaginably, they are filming an outdoor sequence using Squamish's lovely scenery as a backdrop for the shoot. Several fans have ventured to the area to catch a glimpse of what's going on there, and you can check out those accounts here and here.

It is a sad day for Twilight Fans and the finality of the end of the saga is clear with the destruction of this set house.

However, in the words of Director Chris Weitz, "Life is short and Art is Long" and this house will live on for a long time in the Twilight Saga Movies.

Bye Bye Swan House, It was nice knowing you.

Some windows and trees were chopped down by 9am
The tree outside of Bella's window met a chainsaw.
The open door shows the stairs.
The three trees out front were chainsawed.
Windows and doors removed then the chimney.
According to Newsflic:

"The white frame movie set house was located on 28th ave between 188th Ave and 184th Ave. It sat on Kerry Park for about six weeks. They used the location house for one day and two scenes.  The front of the house was decorated for Christmas. I have deduced the scene included Bella as a Vampire, Charlie Swan and little Renesmee. Bella brings Renesmee over for Christmas. The second scene included Emmett, Jasper and Edward. Emmett and Jasper arrive at the Swan house to pick up Edward for the Bach party. I am really just putting pieces together to arrive at my conclusion based on the house set up and the cast that were in Vancouver on that Friday for filming.

Today the deconstruction began and it will never be built again. It took three weeks to build and a few days to take down. It will be put in safe storage somewhere in the event that Stephanie Meyer ever finishes Midnight Sun and that book is made into a movie.  Let's lobby Stephanie to finish the final book and make one more Saga Movie."

Well, twi-fans... how are you feeling? It's a sad day :(

First Promo Poster for Breaking Dawn Part 1

"Steve is currently at CinemaCon (formerly known as ShoWest) and he just snapped a photo of the promo poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Anna Kendrick, Ashley Greene, Michael Sheen, and Dakota Fanning. Directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), the film is set to open on November 18th."

Here’s the synopsis for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn:

In the highly anticipated next chapter of the blockbuster The Twilight Saga, the newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world.
After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally give in to their passions. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal.

But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.

The suspenseful and deeply romantic Breaking Dawn continues the epic tale of supernatural fantasy and passionate love that has made The Twilight Saga a worldwide phenomenon.

Photo's of Bella's Breaking Dawn Wedding Dress - Coming Soon?

With HUGE thanks to Twicrackaddict, who was nosing around Twitter for Breaking Dawn filming news, we now have this teaser...

According to 604Gossip, we may be seeing spoilers of Bella's Breaking Dawn wedding dress soon and it is "antique-ish and feathery"!

Now, in the book, the overall wedding look is described as...

It was my Anne of Green gables vision all over again....
"Nineteen-eighteen?" I guessed.
"More or less,"she said, nodding. "Some of it is my design, the train, the veil..."
She touched the white satin as she spoke. "The lace is vintage. Do you like it?"
"It's beautiful. It's just right for him."

~Alice Cullen and Bella Swan, Eclipse, page 614~

"You can start braiding. I want it intricate. The veil goes here, underneath."

~Alice Cullen, Breaking Dawn, page 43~

"My knees shook so badly as she fastened the long line of pearl buttons up
my back that the satin quivered in little wavelets down to the floor."

~Bella Swan, Breaking Dawn, page 43~

"Her skin was cream and roses, her eyes were huge with excitement and
framed with thick lashes. The narrow sheath of the shimmering white
dress flared out subtly at the train almost like an inverted calla lily, but
so skillfully that her body looked elegant and graceful..."

~Bella Cullen, Breaking Dawn, page 57~

However, Stephenie expanded on her image to Twilight Lexicon:

Those of you who are going with the old fashioned look are on the right track. Two key words to aid in the search: art nouveau. It’s a simpler style than the frillier Edwardian stuff. Elegant white satin, cut on the bias, with long sleeves (the strapless thing is a very recent development. It wasn’t even popular when I was getting married, only 13 years ago, much less during the modest turn of the century). I search google images for the dress every now and then. I’ll let you know if I find something close one of these days.

So, do we think we're actually going to see anything before Breaking Dawn comes out this November? Maybe at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards? Let us know in the comments below!
