Tentative UK release date for Bel Ami

Optimum Releasing, a Studio Canal Company, just posted in their press section that Bel Ami starring Robert Pattinson, now has a UK theatrical release date of August 2011.

You’ll note in the screen cap that they are still using ‘TBC’ or to be confirmed, so this seems to be a tentative release date. When contacted via email, Optimum Releasing stated:Bel Ami is currently scheduled for a UK Theatrical release in August 2011.I’m afraid I can’t confirm as to other territories as Optimum only distributes within the UK

(Note from Bee: Uk and Irish cinema release dates are generally always on par so we can assume the UK release date is the same for Ireland. Will let you know more info as we get it.)
