Robert Pattinson stepped out in London this morning ahead of his appearance on George Clooney's Hope For Haiti telethon, evidently following in the footsteps of many other actors with a serious new beard! It's a rare public outing for Robert, who has been laying very low since his holiday vacation on the Isle of Wight with Kristen Stewart and gearing up to film his ladies' man role in Bel Ami. His cameo on this evening's fundraiser will be alongside other celebs like Rihanna and Jay-Z, who are taking the stage together to perform a special new song

I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday's Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z & Bono
