WFE, Abduction & On the Road - intriguing movies storylines for 2011

The "Twilight" crowd, the morning after: They've branched out into other roles before. But 2011 will bring moments of truth for all three lead actors in the "Twilight" franchise: Robert Pattinson in the period circus drama "Water for Elephants" (coming in April), Taylor Lautner in the teen fugitive thriller "Abduction" (coming in September) and Kristen Stewart in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" (date TBD). The last two movies in the franchise that made them famous are shooting now. Which of the trio can fashion the most productive post-Forks career?

Empire Magazine 2011 Preview...

Smelling salts at the ready, because April 22 sees the return of the mighty R.Pattz in Water For Elephants. Pattinson plays a veterinary student who throws in his studies after the death of his parents and runs away, finding himself in a traveling circus. There he falls for Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) - which would be fine were it not for her violent husband August (Christoph Waltz). This is based on the novel of the same name, is not a sequel to Like Water For Chocolate, and looks set to be a more grown-up effort for the once and future Edward Cullen.

It's the Big One on November 18, which sees Edward and Bella finally get it on in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. The fourth instalment will cover only the first half of the fourth (and final) Twilight book, and sees vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and human Bella (Kristen Stewart) finally tie the knot and go on honeymoon. However, some complications soon turn up in the shape of an unplanned pregnancy and…well, we'll say no more. But at least in this Twilight movie the plot might actually move forward for once. Fans will still have to wait until 2012 for the big finale, but that just gives them extra time to dream of Edward / Jacob / Bella (delete as appropriate) so they probably consider that a bright side.

Robert Pattinson's ‘Bel Ami’ stunt double talks about Rob

Thanks to Veronika from Rob Pattinson Career, we have a translated version of an interview with Robert Pattinson's Bel Ami stunt double, Eszes Szabolcs.
He talks about a lot of experiences from the set, as well as working with Rob and his co-stars!
The original article can be seen here.

Translation:
Eszes Szabolcs really looks like the worlds most beautiful man Robert Pattinson, who is famous for his role of Edward from The Twilight Saga.

The actor recently filmed his upcoming movie here, in which Szabolcs was his stunt double.

– I read the [Twilight] books and watched all the movies, but that's all. I went to the casting not because of Robert Pattinson. I thought it will be an exciting experience for me as an actor to play in a film like this (He is an actor is Hungary, mainly plays in theatres ~ Veronika), even if only an extra. Finally that turned out a completely different thing.

– Lots of people came to the auditions. One of my friends were wondering how we could be ahead of the long line. We walked in the hallway when a man coming from the opposite direction just took a look at me and he was suprised how much similarity is between me and Robert. As later we found out he was the casting manager. We went in and they asked if I had any experience as an actor, and they gave me a smaller role in the movie. I became Robert's dream. This may sound a bit weird, but in the story there is one part when I meet Robert (Georges), I'm a rich guy, while he's poor. He sees himself in me, and decides he'll become like me. I also got this role because I am the same size as Robert, so it will look good in the movie if he really can see himself in me. Our heads were the one thing that were not the same, because his hat was too big for me. But the size of our clothes completely matched.

– In the film there are many famous actors and actresses. Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas also play in it. They are big names in the film industry. The shooting wasn't that easy the first few days. It was very cold outside to shoot. There were a lot of fans waiting to catch a glimpse of Robert, they were able to stand whole day on Andrássy street freezing. At first I couldn't even speak with Rob, 'cause he was stressed because of the crowd. An actor is a human as well. During filming actors make a lot of mistakes in the text or they get the whole scene bad. When we were filming the indoor scenes he was much more relaxed. He came up to me and we talked. He asked me who I was and how long was I acting.

Uma Thurman completely enchanted me. We had a scene we filmed in Tihany (it's a beautiful countryside with a lake and some hills and fields around ~ Veronika). After the shooting we prepared to go back to the capital, but she [Uma] asked for a little time before leaving. I was curious what she wanted, so I watched her. She went back to the Balaton lake-side, because she wanted to take some flowers as souvenirs. Since this is a costume drama, Uma was wearing a big black dress. Adorable. She is very down-to-earth and funny. She did not act like a superstar. She had only one problem. She didn't like the cottage-cheese dumpling she ate one day. In the very last shooting day she invited me to the crew-party where Robert's girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, also attended. When I met her, she just pointed to me, and said, "OMG, you really look like Robert!" Of course in english. That was all about meeting her.

*No drama plz, I know a lot of ppl don't think this guy looks like Rob as the article claims - nor me lol - , but everybody can have their own opinion. If you use just this, pls credit - it took me a lot of time to make my first longer hungarian-english translation :) And sorry for the mistakes.*

Twilight actors named in Starlounge's 'Hottest Hunks Of 2010'

Starlounge.com has compiled a list of the hottest hunks of 2010.
Out of the fifty guys on the list, five twilight-actors were included! (You can see the full list here.)
Below is a rough translation of what they had to say.

Xavier Samuel came in at #46.

"Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson have competition: Xavier Samuel.
The new rising star in "Twilight", is a name to be reckoned with.
The Australian actor played the vampire Riley in "Eclipse", in which he has a romance with Victoria, played by Bryce Dallas Howard.
In real life he is dating model Shermin Shahr Ivar."

Kellan Lutz was #31.

"Kellan Lutz has received many glances in 2010 thanks to his WELL-STACKED body.
He shed his clothes in favour of an underwear advertisement for Calvin Klein, and was also named the year's hottest beach body in Woman's Health magazine.
The 'Twilight' star is single after the breakup with "90210 " star AnnaLynne McCord."

Jamie Campbell Bower was #28.

"With his performance in "New Moon" making many eyes look at Jamie Campbell Bower, we definitely haven't seen this young hunk for the last time. He is also involved "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", and recently announced that he was engaged to "Harry Potter" star Bonnie Wright who plays Ginny Weasley."

Taylor Lautner was #14.

"Taylor Lautner may only be 18 years old, but his six-pack can not be more manly! The role of the werewolf Jacob in the "Twilight" films have made him hotter than the hottest, and the fans found it hard to choose between him ("Team Jacob") and Robert Pattinson ("Team Edward"). But why do we have to choose?"

And Robert Pattinson was #3.

"Robert Pattinson's effort in the "Twilight" series, as the now 109-year-old vampire Edward Cullen, immortalized in his best years, have led all the girls around the world pilgrimage to the theaters.
Hollywood has seemingly got Rob to thank, as everything spelled vampire continues to be sexy and exciting instead of dead and scary.
During this year, Rob has shown that he can do more than play the vampire, and many were pleasantly surprised by his role in "Remember Me"."

***** HAPPY NEW YEAR *****

new years parties

Well, what  a year it's been in 2010. Eclipse and all the surrounding madness was the highlight of the Twilight year and it was worth the wait. We even got a Rob & Kristen commentary on the DVD (if you haven't listened yet, go do it now).

However our favourite stars were also busy with lots of other movies.... Rob brought us 'Tyler' in 'Remember Me', showing the world that there was more to him than Edward Cullen.

Kristen showed her epic acting chops in Welcome to the Rileys &  The Runaways while Taylor starred with a host of other celebs in Valentine's Day. The rest of the cast were busy too...it seems the Twilight cast can do no wrong, as they continue to pop up in bit parts / big parts in movies, tv shows and even music videos!

The Irish Twilight Sisters 'family' continues to grow - Bee, Mel, Anna & Lorri have been joined by Jess, Jen & Vicky...who share our goal to bring you Twilight news, Cast news and whatever else takes our fancy on any given day.

While we ring in 2011 tonight, let's look forward to what the year has to bring us...

So take some time with us this coming year while we are 'On The Road', adoring 'Bel Ami' and carrying 'Water for Elephants' and hoping no 'Abduction' happens before the 'Breaking Dawn'... (Okay, that was really lame but hey, the madness has finally gotten to me! ~  B)

We would like to take this chance to thank our affiliate sites, our sister blogs, our followers - here, on Twitter, on Facebook and everywhere else for all your help, your contributions, your sources, your pictures, wallpapers, tweets, friendship and support!
